See what you can do with ONE camera, ZERO budget, Self taught editing, Royalty Free sounds, and a NEED for adventure. This 18 part series runs about an hour and is flush with lush visuals throughout. The editing alone took hundreds of hours. Each video has a description, some long and some short, but all thoughts on the experience. Creating this series has been extremely cathartic, especially during the pandemic, and acts as a reminder to myself and hopefully others that there is a freedom rich world out there ready to be engaged with and absorbed. I had friends comp me rooms, borrowed transportation, ate light, drank light(er)...and was welcomed EVERYWHERE with open arms! It comes down to being resourceful and fully committed to the pursuit of a goal, mine being to venture into the city of lights and the surrounding natural wonders both to replenish the soul and capture the essence of it all with this footage. Sometimes I was freezing cold or starving...other times the footage didn't capture or the battery died early with no chance to charge it. Sometimes I'd have to sneak a camera into a place or be told to stop swinging it around in public. Ultimately, what you see is a direct result of just GOING FOR IT and making the most of what I had every step along the way. This series will always live on in my heart as a reminder of who I am when I follow my instincts, ideas, and dreams. I can hardly wait to begin the next adventure film...
